About the Item
Magnificent scarlet poppies in an impressionistic manner on a blue background. The original abstraction of Lilia Volskaya. This luxurious modern abstraction of beautiful scarlet flowers was painted by me using different painting techniques. First, a blue background is painted in oil. It refreshes and nourishes the picture like streams of water. Then the poppies are painted in oil. I have been watching these colors for a long time and I wanted to emphasize how different they are. Each flower has its own life and destiny. There's a lot of sex in them. passion. love and fragility. And they talked to me. These stories are written on canvas. The unusual thing is that I used the MIX technique. I used smart PEBEO paints, glitter, contours for ceramics. This further enhanced the effect of the painting on our senses.

Lilya Volskaya is a Russian artist who has exhibited nationally. She studied EBRU in Turkey in 2002-2005 and completed a course in painting and drawing in the workshop of Alexander Sergeev 2005-2007 MGAKHI named after V. I. Surikov. The Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. She lives and works in Moscow. Lilya creates using eastern techniques of drawing on water – Ebru, Ceramic Style, and some more traditional - wet acrylic, resin pouring, classical oil painting, palette knife.

Personal life Ida Waugh was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 24, 1846, the daughter of painter Samuel B. Waugh and his first wife, Sarah Mendenhall, therefore she was half-sister of painter Frederick Judd Waugh. Her step-mother was Mary Eliza Young Waugh, a miniaturist.
